Instructional League Baseball. Grades K & 1

The instructional programs and clinics for all leagues are developed by Frozen Ropes with emphasis on skill development necessary to enhance baseball knowledge and skills.
Program will incorporate combination of fast paced drills using various stations. Drills will be lead by Frozen Ropes instructors with assistance from parent coaches and volunteers. Instructional programs will be supplemented with controlled scrimmages to develop game situations and learning.

At this level, it our goal to provide each player with a fun and positive experience on the baseball field.  For many players this may be their first time on an organized team or playing baseball altogether, and we will strive to make this first experience a memorable one!  We want to teach the players how to play the game the correct way, help foster a passion for the game so that they want to play for a long time, and certainly promote new friendships by showing them how we cheer on our teammates while demonstrating great sportsmanship to our opponents.

How will we do this?  The Instructional Program, lead by Frozen Ropes and with the assistance of parents like you, puts an emphasis on... instruction. Sound boring? It won't be!  In a very fun and fast-paced way, we will look to get players a lot of reps in all of the necessary skills, such as hitting, throwing and catching!  While playing "real games" will be part of a player's development during the program, it will be secondary to developing the skills and the confidence needed to achieve game success.

In order to achieve these goals and to make the experience a positive one, we need your help and assistance! Practices / games are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6pm - 7:30pm, if you are able to assist during the  spring sessions. please contact our Instructional League commissioner   with any questions.

We measure the success of the Instructional Program not by how far your player can throw or hit the ball- but by whether he or she wants to play the following year!

AAA League Baseball. Grades 2

The AAA Instructional Program has many of the same elements and goals that you will find in the Instructional K-1 level but at a more advanced level and in preparation of next year's Minor's Program.  The program is open to all players in second grade.

In addition to receiving instruction in all aspects of the game from both professional and volunteer coaches like you, there will be a greater emphasis on situational play, developing a deeper understanding of the game, and improving skills and building confidence each week.

To maximize the learning process and to ensure that maximum benefit is achieved by the players, this program features a mix of of T-ball and coach pitch. We measure the success of the Instructional Program not by how far your player can throw or hit the ball- but by whether he or she wants to play the following year!

The season is nine weeks long and begins in April

Practices / games are held on Tuesday and Thursday 6pm - 7:30pm
