The mission of the Wayland Little League is to provide baseball and softball programs that serve players of all abilities. Wayland Little League strives to provide a positive, competitive environment with emphasis on teaching the fundamentals and the rule

Wayland Little League is a volunteer-driven organization that provides softball and baseball programs for over 400 children annually in grades K-10 year-round.  The Wayland Little League Board of Directors is seeking additional volunteers for non-coaching roles that can help with special programs and events in order to provide Wayland kids with a great baseball and softball experience. By volunteering even a handful of hours each year to initiatives that need support, our program will be greatly enhanced for Wayland kids.

As such, Wayland Little League has created a “Friends Wayland Little League” by which parents and supporters who have limited time but would like to help, can volunteer a few hours each year to the program.  These volunteers would be given support and direction from board members on a regular basis.  Among the Little League programs that need additional assistance:

  • Umpiring Program
  • Annual Parade Coordination
  • Social Media/PR
  • Uniform program
  • Fundraising/Sponsorship program
  • One-off projects (equipment organization/clean up, events, etc)
