Wayland Fall Baseball Program


 

As the leaves turn from green to gold to brown, baseball continues to be played in Wayland. Wayland Little League provides a fall baseball program for those players who want to continue to play baseball as the weather turns cooler.

There are have 4 divisions outlined below - one game and one practice per week, with
games played on Sunday afternoons in September and October
 

LL Minors Division - Grade 3 and 4

  • For players who will be 9 or 10 years old on or before April 30
  • Practices during the week as scheduled by the coach.
  • One game played each Sunday afternoon in September and October, (including Columbus Day) - for a 9-game Fall Ball season.

LL Majors Division- Grade 5 and 6

  • For players who will be 11 or 12 years old on or before April 30
  • Practices during the week as scheduled by the coach.
  • One game played each Sunday afternoon in September and October, for a 9 game fall ball season.

Babe Ruth Prep Division – Grade 7  FIRST TIME ON THE BIG DIAMOND

  • For players who will be 13 years old on or before April 30
  • Practices during the week as scheduled by the coach.
  • One game played each Sunday afternoon in September and October, (including Columbus Day) - for a 9 game season.

Babe Ruth Division-  Grade 8 and 9 

  • For players who will be 14-16 year older on or before April 30
  • Practices during the week as scheduled by the coach.
  • One game played each Sunday afternoon in September and October, (including Columbus Day) - for a 9 game season.
 

Wayland Little League does NOT advocate that players participate in baseball year round and we encourage players to participate in multiple sports and programs.  As such, we understand that fall in-season sports such as soccer and football have preference over the baseball schedule.  We accommodate the rosters to account for this.
