The Wayland Baseball and Softball Fall Ball program is a developmental league that provides the opportunity to play baseball during the fall season.

The Fall Balls leagues are structured as follows

  • Farm League Fall Ball - Grades 1 & 2
  • Minor League Fall Ball - Grades 3 & 4
  • Major League Fall Ball - Grades 5 & 6

Fall ball is a “player pitch” league with the main objective is to provide a fun experience for the players, help them develop and refine their baseball skills, and to encourage their enjoyment for the game. The players will get exposure to inter town play both at our home field and some other local towns, fields. The program offer players exposure to the next level or new positions they have interest in playing in the spring.

Teams will be balanced and games will be fun and competitive. It is friendly competition and development league in a non “win at all stakes” environment.

Standings may not be maintained and a league champion may not be declared.

There will be one practice per week (we will make it convenient based on other sports practices) and if required practices may be moved indoors to Frozen Ropes in the case of inclement weather.

We realize that other sports season's run in this time of year so practices will be organized accordingly and games we will be played on Sunday afternoons throughout the fall minimize and potential conflicts.

Wayland will play surrounding towns such Sudbury, Stow and Maynard Lexington Concord-Carlise etc.

Registration is now OPEN!
